Design Considerations for In-field Reprogramming of Application Firmware

An embedded system gains market advantages and increased longevity when the application firmware it contains can be updated after the product has been deployed. The upgrade process involved both possibilities and pitfalls, though. This session describes hardware and software design considerations that help enable successful code updates in the field. It also describes multiple scenarios covering different memory configurations.
