Overview of the Eclipse IDE for the Renesas SH7722-based Platform

This session describes the popular Eclipse IDE tool adopted for SuperH processors. It covers functions and features for performing project management, target/board-specific compiling, remote debugging and version control for SH7722 based platforms. Tools operation is explained for an SH Linux environment that uses kernel 2.6.24 and gclibc and other components. The presentation also discusses features that are valuable for embedded system developers working in large teams: SVN (Subversion) and CVS (Concurrent Version System) access.
