Introduction to Flash Programming of Renesas MCUs
This session for new users of Renesas flash microcontrollers describes in detail various ways to write code into the MCU’s on-chip memory and update the software in the lab, in production and in the field. Topics covered include advantages of on-chip flash memory, an overview of Renesas Flash technologies, and programming methods: the Virtual EEPROM method, and the Boot and User modes for on-board programming. The Renesas Flash Development Toolkit (FDT) software is covered, as well. |
