Applying an API to Implement Direct-drive LCD Operation

This lab session on the advanced software API for Renesas LCD direct-drive technology shows how easy it is to configure drivers for different TFT-LCD panels, then explains the physical interface and how the drivers work. It presents the API's benefits and also describes how the drivers can be used with animation and different panel sizes. The lab concludes with a demonstration of an MCU-based system that uses a real-time operating system and the software API to show how animation and timed operation can be created.
