Implementing Six-step Trapezoidal Control with Hall Sensors

This laboratory session provides an introduction to the 6-step trapezoidal-drive method for controlling an electric motor. It explains how the method works and then uses the YMCRPR8C25 motor-control demonstration kit to illustrate a real-world application using an R8C MCU. Test measurements illustrate typical levels of performance achieved with this control approach.
