Brushless DC Motor Control with Back-EMF

The purpose of this laboratory session is to show engineers how to effectively implement sensorless speed control of a permanent-magnet brushless-DC (BLDC) electric motor. The presentation describes the special noise reduction techniques and clever software that are used to make this robust control algorithm applicable to a wide range of BLDC motors and loads.
