Adding USB Connectivity to an Embedded System

This DevCon 2008 lab session is optimized for engineers who have always wanted to develop with USB, but have been discouraged by issues relating to the host aspect. It provides an opportunity to experience USB development from the perspective of the Windows® operating system. Specific examples and code projects allow attendees to discover that developing USB applications for Windows can be quick and easy. Several simple application development environments are discussed, as are driver interface options, types of transfers, and other USB topics.
