Hybrid Electric Vehicle Control: Motors, Engines and Batteries
This session addresses design issues specific to the various embedded control systems essential to the performance achieved by Hybrid Electric vehicles (HEVs). It describes the problems associated with and solutions designed for controlling electric motors, internal combustion engines and battery packs. The requirements for communication between the various in-vehicle systems are also explained.
