Engineers must separate facts from myths to do their jobs. Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage do that routinely and enthusiastically - and they have fun doing it! At DevCon they will be featured in a moderated, interactive evening presentation that is sure to be both entertaining and insightful, if not inspirational (i.e., don’t try this at home!)

This presentation, with its special guests, fits into a primary DevCon theme: Technology myths must be banished so that developers of embedded systems can take full advantage of the best available solutions in microcomputers, design techniques, application tips, hardware and software tools and support products.

The pragmatic, inventive, and revealing experiments that Jamie and Adam have created and implemented are effective and thought provoking. The testing approaches they use often reflect different points of view; creative disagreements, if you will. Sometimes the tests prove to be a bit of a disaster, too. (Thank goodness for a strong emphasis on extensive safety precautions!) Moreover, various myth-busting schemes have even reached conclusions that upon further investigation proved to be wrong!
